Sarah has been leading transformative learning experiences for more than two decades, including coaching educators across the United States, teaching mindfulness in prison, and helping people more deeply connect to themselves and each other. Among many roles, she served on the Harvard Graduate School of Education faculty as a Master Teacher in Residence. There, she co-created an innovative master's program to prepare teachers to advance educational equity and lead transformative learning in schools serving primarily low-income urban communities. Additionally, Sarah was the Visiting Director of Elementary Education at Brown University, where she previously earned a B.A. in Comparative Literature and an M.A.T. in Secondary English. Sarah is a life-long learner, parent, community organizer, dancer, and yoga and mindfulness practitioner. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island, where she loves to walk, dance, share stories, and explore life’s big questions (sometimes concurrently). She is honored to partner with other humans on shared journeys of growth and liberation.
